What is a double sheet?
Double sheets are compatible with double sized bed mattresses measuring 138 cm x 188 cm. Our double flat sheets (of size 228 cm x 254 cm) and double fitted sheets (of size 137 cm x 193 cm x 40 cm) can be used with your double beds.
Are double and queen sheets the same size?
No. Double mattresses are smaller in size than queen mattresses. Queen mattresses typically are 153 cm wide and 203 cm long. Hence, they are bigger than double mattresses.

Double bed mattresses typically measure 138cm x 188cm, so bed sheets bought for your double bed should measure around 138cm x 188cm for a fitted sheet, and 228cm x 254cm for a flat sheet.
It is also important to consider the depth of your mattress before purchasing your fitted double sheets. Standard double bed sheets are typically 33cm to 40cm deep. These will comfortably fit a standard double bed mattress. If you have a pillow top or a pillow top and bottom double bed mattress however, you may need to consider a deeper fitted sheet like a mega double fitted bed sheet which features a 50cm wall.
